Corinna “Nina” Guerra

Founder & Executive Director

Nina is a native of San Antonio, Texas, a Marine Corps veteran, and a clinical psychology doctoral student.

“While my Marine Corps career has come to an end, service to my country and my community will continue.”

Nina Guerra served ten years in the United States Marine Corps, where she cultivated a profound passion for leadership and community service. Serving with various agencies and special operation forces enhanced her knowledge and understanding of working with diverse cultures and individuals. Connecting her experiences, she founded Rustic Ranch Equine-Assisted Wellness, a non-profit organization focused on sharing the benefits of the human-horse connection with veterans and community members. She has served as the Executive Director since 2021.

In 2022, Nina earned her M.S. in Psychology from Arizona State University, setting the stage for her current pursuit as a clinical psychology doctoral student at The Chicago School – Dallas. Specializing in trauma-informed care, mindfulness skills, and improving cognitive performance, she aims to elevate the lives of those she works with.

Nina is a leader, mentor, and clinician dedicated to positively impacting and promoting overall well-being. She is committed to delivering high-quality care and services to her clients
